Brisbane Bandits Score Big with Teddy Bear Toss Event

After the successful Brisbane Bandits Teddy Bear Toss charity event, AceComms made a special delivery of donated toys to the Children’s Hospital Foundation.

“That is just incredible!”, said Becky Hughes, Community Partnerships Co-Ordinator at the Foundation. “Thank you so much for organising such an awesome event!”

The local Brisbane Bandits community and supporters purchased these teddies at the highly publicised Geelong-Korea game.  Hundreds of fans threw their purchased teddies onto the ballpark, which were subsequently collected and donated to the Children’s Hospital.  Internationally, the Teddy Bear Toss themed events are extremely popular now.  Consequently, the Hershey Bears hockey club established a new world record in 2022, collecting 52,341 stuffed toys.  The Ace Comms Team were very proud to make a special delivery of donated toys to the Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Due to the success of the inaugural Teddy Bear Toss, The Brisbane Bandits have committed to running the event again in 2023. AceComms MD and primary owner of the Brisbane Bandits, Kevin Cuyler stated, “Events like this take time to build, however they are crucial in bringing together communities to support much needed causes. Championing an event that assists sick children and their families is a personal ambition which is now realised through my love of baseball’.
