In a recent article by Austrade, it was stated that “In the heart of the Pacific Rim, a multitude of projects beckon, as the Asian Development Bank estimates that over US$30 billion must be invested in the Pacific’s infrastructure by 2030 (www.austrade.gov.au, n.d.).” These investments are set to transform the very fabric of the Pacific Islands, ushering in better roads, modernised ports, robust telecommunications networks, and essential water and energy infrastructure.

These essential infrastructure projects will demand the most effective and robust communications deliverables, as many projects extend into some of the most remote and desolate areas across the Pacific Islands.
