Grant Sleep awarded the Motorola Solutions ‘Silver Fox’ Award for his contributions to the Radio Industry

The recent Motorola Solutions Channel Partner Conference saw industry leaders gather to celebrate the year’s successes, and to recognise the outstanding contributions of their partners. As part of this, AceComms Technical Director, Grant Sleep, was the proud recipient of the prestigious ‘Silver Fox’ award, recognising his exceptional work and contributions to the radio industry.

The ‘Silver Fox’ award, named after Gary Roche, the father of the radio industry, is given annually to a Motorola Solutions partner individual who exemplifies their shared values throughout the year. Grant Sleep, a seasoned professional with over 43 years of experience in the radio communications industry, was recognised for his commitment and dedication to the industry, along with his technical knowledge and expertise.

Grant’s experience & proficiency in the industry has led to national two-way radio provider, AceComms, becoming a certified Motorola Training Centre. This is the only training centre of its kind within Australia.  In his acceptance speech, Grant expressed his gratitude for the award, and thanked his colleagues and mentors for their support throughout his career. He also emphasised the importance of collaboration and teamwork in achieving success in the radio comms industry.
